The Reverse Uno card: a characterization of our last splits

Our Summer Split in a sentence? Enthusiastic regular split, below the expectations playoffs…
The team came back to work with refueled energy and utterly sure of our value after an exciting European Masters. We fell short on the group stage, but our performances have shown that we were ready to achieve great things at the next PrimeLeague's split.

If the performances at EUM could predict good things, the results at PrimeLeague's Summer split backed it up entirely. The team completely dominated the opponents throughout all regular split with incredible performances and barely gave them any chance to fight back. Leading most of the stats in the competition, our League of Legends players proved their value while GamerLegion showed how much we trusted in them by resigning with them until 2021.

If there were any doubts, the 4.38 overall KDA, the highest Gold Lead at 15min, or the 17kills per game back up a completely outstanding season. The team dominated not only when it comes to fights and skirmishes, but the stats also show that GL's objective control has been exceptional. From the first tower in 76% of the games to 67% of all drakes, the incredible performance showed match after match until the playoffs.

The truth is that, after a Spring split where we had a messy regular split and exciting playoffs, the Summer Split showed precisely the contrary: a very promising regular split and playoffs below expectations. The team couldn't achieve their best level and ended up getting clean-swept from both matches over Mousesports and Schalke 04.
Now that the EUMasters is around the corner, our players have been training as hard as possible to achieve their highest self when it comes to League of Legends. The Play-Ins are waiting for us, and GamerLegion can't wait to show our fans and followers what we've been preparing to represent Germany and the GSA region in Europe!
